Dr.Meenakshi swaminathan

Dr. Meenakshi is regarded by many in her profession as one of the best pediatric ophthalmologists and squint surgeons. She has over 20 years of experience at Sankara Netralaya both practicing and teaching others. She did her training at PGIMER, the University of Louisville, and the University of Iowa, USA.

Dr. Meenakshi began her career at Madras Medical College. She specialized in ophthalmology, completing her MS in 1992. Her academic journey led her to the US for further training.

Upon returning to India, she joined Sankara Nethralaya, where she made significant contributions as Director of Academics for 14 years. Her expertise lies in pediatric ophthalmology, adult strabismus, and ophthalmic education.
