Her expertise extends to various hospitals across Chennai. She completed a clinical observership program at Wayne State Medical University, specializing in Infectious Diseases and Transplant Infections. A certified practitioner of ‘Good Antimicrobial Prescription Practices & Infection Control,’ she is a member of prestigious medical societies, including the European Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases, Infectious Diseases Society of America, Association of Physicians of India, and the National Academy of Medical Sciences.
Her contributions to medical literature include presentations and publications in conferences across the US, Korea, and India. During her college years, Dr. Madhumitha earned gold medals in forensic medicine and microbiology and received the Dr. Harnath Award for the ‘Best Outgoing Student’ in medicine in September 2012.
