Dr. Arul’s nearly two decades of teaching experience include roles as an Assistant Professor at Sri Ramachandra Medical College & Research Institute. Renowned for his insightful lectures and clinical demonstrations, he is a member of the Indian Academy of Neurology and the American Academy of Neurology.

His contributions to medical literature include research papers, articles, and participation in conferences as both a speaker and participant. Dr. Arul’s lectures span diverse topics, from neurocysticercosis and epilepsy to transcranial magnetic stimulation in acute stroke and neuropsychiatric changes in patients with Parkinson’s disease.

Currently, Dr. Arul is engaged in research on the clinical profile and somatosensory evoked potential in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis and Parkinson’s disease in younger patients. His academic excellence was evident during his medical studies, where he secured the top position in Anatomy, earning him the ‘Hande Endowment Award’ for Proficiency in Anatomy from Kilpauk Medical College.
